<p><a name="1">1.</a> <b>Will there be other stores in my area with the same book?</b> We are not allowing any two &#8220;competing&#8221; stores in the same town or marketing area to be involved with the project. Keep in mind though, if you are in a larger city, more stores will be allowed to participate. The key is your direct marketing area. For example, there might be many from NYC, but two stores in the same neighborhood on Staten Island across the street from one another will be not both be permitted to participate. The only exception to this rule is if there is a mutual understanding between the two stores.</p>

<p><a name="2">2.</a> <b>How are store territories being protected?</b> Territories will be awarded on a first come first served basis and  protected by careful monitoring of new store acceptance. Territories will be determined by the zip code radius of your store. We are committed to our authors and will work diligently to make sure we protect your investment.</p>

<p><a name="3">3.</a> <b>What should I expect from doing this?</b> You will receive media exposure and the ability to include your authorship in all of your communications with your customers. You will be considered the expert because you &#8220;wrote the book.&#8221; You will also experience a &#8220;buzz&#8221; in the store when they see the book display and sign saying you were selected to get involved in the book.  Plus, you will experience an additional add-on sale!</p>

<p><a name="4">4.</a> <b>Will my tip be in every book?</b> Yes, your tip, or tips, will be in all of the books printed.  As we add additional stores and the page count exceeds 225, we will edit back some of the tips, but you will always have at least one tip in every book.</p>

<p><a name="5">5.</a> <b>Am I agreeing to allow my tip to be in other books around the country?</b> Yes, it only adds creditability to you.</p>

<p><a name="6">6.</a> <b>How many tips can I put in the book?</b> That depends on the length of the tips. Only one if it&#8217;s three pages long but, realistically two to three tips per store. Although we say 101, it is generally a few more. Always give the customer a little extra!</p>

<p><a name="7">7.</a> <b>What if I want to revise or edit my tip in the book?</b> That can be done with an additional editing charge, generally under	$150.</p>

<p><a name="8">8.</a> <b>What is my obligation after the initial order?</b> Just the marketing of your book, which we spell out in detail in the Media Kit. The Media Kit is a step-by-step manual that insures retail success  as well as reaching all of the benefits  of the media/PR campaign.</p>

<p><a name="9">9.</a> <b>Can I pay extra to protect a larger territory?</b> No, we want as many non-competing stores as possible to be able to participate.</p>

<p><a name="10">10.</a> <b>Can someone help me to write my tip?</b> Yes, we have staff writers and interviewers that will  call you and  actually pull out gems of wisdom you don&#8217;t even realize you have. It never fails &#8211; the folks that say, &#8220;I can&#8217;t do it&#8221; often find themselves flowing with knowledge when the right questions are asked. You can just dictate and we will do the rest.</p>

<p><a name="11">11.</a> <b>What kind of pictures do I need?</b> You need a picture of the owner or owners and an optional picture for the back cover of your store or employees.</p>

<p><a name="12">12.</a> <b>What are the specifications for the pictures?</b> They must be at least 300 DPI and as clear a picture as possible. It can be either in JPG or PDF format.</p>

<p><a name="13">13.</a> <b>Can I take the pictures myself or do they need to be professionally done?</b> Sure, if you or your staff know how to take pictures. It is one step up from the small point and shoot cameras. However, it definitely works out better when a professional photographer is involved. We do recommend  a photographer because you will need a good picture of yourself for the press releases that you will send out after your book is published.</p>

<p><a name="14">14.</a> <b>Is there any minimum when reordering books?</b> No. You can order one at a time if you chose and the price is $9.87 with a suggested retail price of $19.95.</p>

<p><a name="15">15.</a> <b>Will there be any manufacturer advertisements in the book?</b> Yes.The difference is that these will not be display ads. They will be in either in story form or as a pure institutional-upscale-proud-to-be-involved type of ad.</p>

<p><a name="16">16.</a> <b>Will my book be the exact same as everyone else&#8217;s?</b> Yes, but every cover changes except for the Publishers Version that does not feature any particular store or picture on the cover.</p>

<p><a name="17">17.</a> <b>Why would I order the Publishers Version without my picture on it?</b> Not sure. There is so much benefit from having your name on the book, but it is less money and some people are embarrassed to be in the spotlight. So we make it available.</p>

<p><a name="18">18.</a> <b>What do I do after I receive the books?</b> You use your Media Kit.  It will take you through all of the steps and even explain how to display your books on the counter. Then, of course, you start making more sales!</p>

<p><a name="19">19.</a> <b>How does the online order system work?</b> It&#8217;s as simple as placing a small graphical &#8220;call to action&#8221; on your website. When a customer clicks on the link, it will take them directly to a mini shopping cart of just one book and we do all the rest. You will receive a commission for every book sold from your link. The only exception is the Publishers Version, where no commissions are paid to stores. Another reason to go with Signature Version!</p>

<p><a name="20">20.</a> <b>Will I have to ship books?</b> Nope, we ship directly to your customers.</p>

<p><a name="21">21.</a> <b>Will I have to stock inventory</b>? Yes, but never more than your original quantity of 35 and enough to last for a two week period. It takes 10 days to two weeks to fulfill your orders.</p>

<p><a name="22">22.</a> <b>What type of commission will I receive?</b> Your commission will be 25% of the selling price, or $5.00 per book. That&#8217;s better than most major publishers offer their clients!</p>

Since this is public relations, you will always need books to give away to various media outlets. Plus, it can be a great incentive to referral stores or businesses in your town. For example, perhaps you can put copies of your book in the podiatrist office waiting area or offer them to the doctor for free to refer their patients to you. </p>

<p><a name="24">24.</a> <b>What is the strongest part of the program?</b> The notoriety it brings to you and your store. It really does position you as an expert. That is worth a hundred times more than whatever books are sold. It is public relations at its best!</p>
